...Optimus was modeled in truck mode, so that is also the default for the rig. Much of the model and rig were done within 4 weeks of my initial decision to build it, but I've had little time to refine it since. I still plan on adding a few dynamic components to further enhance the character, not to mention textures. Based upon the line of transforming toys originally created by toy manufacturer Takara, developed into the Transformers line by Hasbro in 1984. (Polygons,2009)
